Inspiration: Social Media Revolution

It's here to stay

Social Media and the Buyer /Seller Effect

The development in Social Media did not go unnoticed. Due to it's progression the producer/consumer market changed and people started to be more convince by other means of getting information about products.

Cell phones and instant chat gets the word out fast about anything if wired to a Social Media tool (e.g: face book, my space, twitter; etc). Can you imagine what that does to bad customer service?

The very instant something happens, with a few clicks (or in this case, a few key punches) publishers and readers are exposed to information about every thing that is going on around them. Blog spots and and independent web pages rack up a number of followers after a time, then generating buzz and influence.

With this development there is an upside in which buyers get the convenience of shopping from home on their computers.

The downside is: instead of advertisers buying in to televisions programs, radio broadcast and newspapers, here's now what happens:

Step 1: Buyer click on 'Buy Now'
Step 2: Seller Confirm the buyer Order
Step 3: Buyer make the payment
Step 4: Seller Send item to buyer upon receiving payment
Step 5: You can give good rating to your seller/buyer when the transaction is completed

This now causes a division between the buyer/seller

The Process in Summation

'Flikr' becomes the biggest repository (storehouse) in the history of photos. (YouTube for movies and videos)

The Progress Continues

As time progressed people started to equipt themselves with the necessary tools to make it in a digital age. This will change our lives forever.
It all started with the revolution of media with the internet at the end of the last century which was pointed out in the video in the previous post. Everything related to the old media never looked the same as people found new and easier ways to be connected with their surroundings and the entire world.

The Expansion of Digital Media and the Use Social Media

Mankind has used the media for many years to reach the masses. Through media, we have been given a power we couldn't recieve from any other medium or process. We have been given the power to develop and convey messages for the better of people everywhere and to also impact the lives of not just people that live right next door to us but also people that live miles away and in other neighborhoods and homes all around the world.

Mass Media has been widely spread through the use of mediums such as newspaper, radio and television but in the 21st Century, change is upon us.

Digital Media refers to the same principles used in Mass Media but through the use of other mediums to reach the masses. Those mediums include electronic devices, techy gadgets and computer systems.

Days of getting information, coverage and advertising on television, radio and newspapers are almost gone from us and it's now time to Embrace something new, something different; something to change our lives while making it easier for us.

In the next few post I want to explore the Expansion of Digital Media in the 21st Century and the use of Social Media.

Here is a brief introduction to the topic.
